{"id":3512,"date":"2025-09-09T11:00:35","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T11:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/novalliance.fr\/?p=3512"},"modified":"2025-10-09T10:02:01","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T10:02:01","slug":"electronic-invoice-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/novalliance.fr\/en\/facture-electronique-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"What is electronic invoicing?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The reform that is transforming the administrative management of companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From <strong>1st September 2026<\/strong>, the <strong>electronic invoicing<\/strong> will become a reality for all <strong>companies subject to VAT<\/strong>.<br>The aim of this reform is to simplify management, increase transparency and modernise exchanges between companies and the authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is an electronic invoice?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <strong>electronic invoicing<\/strong> (or \u201cdematerialised invoice\u201d) is an invoice that is created, transmitted and received using a <strong>structured and standardised file format<\/strong>, as <strong>Factur-X<\/strong>, <strong>UBL<\/strong> or <strong>CII<\/strong>.<br>It contains all the <strong>compulsory legal information<\/strong> and must go through a <strong>approved platform<\/strong> to be considered valid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 In plain English, a simple PDF sent by email <strong>is no longer enough<\/strong>. It must be possible to <strong>read, checked and archived<\/strong> in a standard format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is affected and when?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the <strong>VAT-registered companies established in France<\/strong> are affected by the reform.<br>But the bonds are coming <strong>in two stages<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Mandatory reception from <strong>1st September 2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u27a1\ufe0f From this date, <strong>all companies<\/strong>, regardless of their size, must be able to <strong>receive electronic invoices<\/strong> via an approved platform.<br>This is the first stage of the reform, common to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
